In 1991, St. Peter's Church in Lake Mary, Florida, built a church in Quince de Enero, Honduras, from monies donated at home. Thus began a close relationship which has grown through the years. Following the completion of the church building, the mission team began planning to double the size of the small village school.
Although the new church and school facilities were well received, our initial vision for the people in the villages was overshadowed by their deeper needs for medical and dental care.
When asked what they needed, a village woman replied: "Our children are sick. They need medicine and doctors. |
